What if we could take the good with the bad, take pride in the endurance and the memories our body hold - each freckle from a sunny day and every wrinkle from sharing a laugh.

Kardashian talks about using body foundation for years to cover up her psoriasis, and there are lots of fans excited about the product. Yet I cannot help but feel we are accelerating towards aging becoming a lifestyle. Chasing an obsession of idealized youth can rob us of self-worth and the meaning in each day.

Kim Kardashian is beautiful, and so are you.

On June 21, 2019 KKW Body By Kim Kardashian launched it’s body makeup collection, available in seven shades and retail for $45 per bottle. Videos on the site show how The Skin Perfecting Body Foundation work to blur “imperfections”.

I love when products can bring out confidence in people. But what is “Imperfection” or “flawless“ in your mind? For me, I know foundation products have really helped me feel more confident and like myself again during a period of severe breakout. I read an article from a major fashion magazine blog saying “這才是仙女該有的肌膚 “.

However, as the margins get more narrow, It feels as if you’re not good enough without the airbrushed, smooth and glowing skin.

We spend more time and money to study and conform to the evolving beauty standard, because of the images projected daily by major magazines, reinforced by instagram models looking so perfect and flawless.

The emphasis is more on healthy, great-looking skin that doesn't need a lot of makeup instead of covering up skin issues with layers of product and color.

When thinking about ageless beauty, famous French actress, Marion Cotillard often comes to mind. Do you remember her as Dom Cobb‘s wife Mal Cobb in Inception (2010)? Now at 43, the film star still dazzles the world with light touches of make-up, flattering chic garments and a vibrant exuberance. Almost ten years after the major picture, she is still the inspiration for many women, with an unapologetic attractiveness and beauty all of her own.

They follow the "less is more" maxim when it comes to make up.

In France we’re about glowing, great-looking skin, so we can have this no-makeup makeup look, and it works,” Thomas says. “In the U.S., I find women looking for quick fixes that leave their skin dry, peeling, or damaged, so they’re buying more makeup, and the difference is that American women find skin care complicated, with many steps, and the French secret is more about simplicity.
